  1. "Study the historian before you begin to study their work" (adapted from E.H. Carr). Discuss this idea in relation to history and one other Area of Knowledge (AOK).
  2. To what extent are we more inclined to learn from our failures than our successes in the production of knowledge? Discuss with reference to two AOKs.
  3. Do we always prefer ideas that are beautifully expressed over those that are factually accurate? Discuss with reference to the arts and one other AOK.
