There's this wonderful argument going on
here. I feel like joining in, simply because it is centred around that horrible and uneducated person,
Richard Dawkins. There's a good critique of his work
here, based on that woolly-minded (and best-selling) tome,
The God Delusion.
Ah well. Temptations, temptations.

Fantastically well-written ( or at least at the level which i can comprehend.). I was wondering if I could get permission for the articles and the discussions printed for my KI class-or at the very least, the people who care about such things.
Ha, why don't you just ask them to visit this blog and access the links?
Print? Print?! Why?????
So that they can write notes and uh analyse the argument structure etc. I'd have to check with the teacher first but I think it would be a good exercise in ethics, religion, and argument structure. Also referring to this post http://morpheme.wordpress.com/2008/09/22/atheism-and-morality/.
Hello, judges6. I'm the owner of morpheme.wordpress.com... Sure, you can print them out, though I fear those articles and the ensuing comments weren't really properly or thoughtfully constructed. The parts where I am genuinely enraged are also embarassing, though genuine anger over the willingess of others to accept nonsense is never in vain.
All in all, though, I don't mind if you print it out or something. You could try showing me the final copy and what exactly you're going to print out -- I'm intrigued.
It'd simply be the post plus all the subsequent comments. I could remove the usernames if you want but I'm pretty sure whoever reads it won't bother you :) But don't worry about it the teacher has his own materials and arguments he discusses with us- if I bring it to class it'll just be a great discussion on ethics and arguments. The point that it isn't perfectly crafted, and that the arguments and counter-arguments are continually being elaborated on is what I think would be a good break from single passage arguments.
