One very good thing about the Tropics is that it is generally warm. The downside is that my asthma sometimes wanders by, like a scholarly ghost, not particularly potent but slightly irritating. The upside is that my old shoulder injury is kept at bay; when he is active, it is more like some thuggish yob who puts you in an armlock just for the fun of it, all the while yelling, "Hur hur hur, who's a pre(tt)y boy then!" in some awful Lunnon accent.
Down here, my shoulder isn't often frozen. That's wonderful. Except when it is.

seems like the humidity is the main cause for all recurring respiratory illnesses.
Cold and wet is worst. I have always preferred dry, and perhaps more on the warm side than the cold side. Say about 20-24°C.
Early morning cold, wet, and bus air-conditioning is the worst. Felt as if I've completed a marathon at record speed, without the panting. And ventolin makes me too jumpy. :P
perhaps thats y down under seems be the fav of migration these years haha...along with the poineer IB ppl
Ventolin eh... *grin* see this link. Research shows that salbutamol racemic mixture and R-salbutamol pure are about the same in activity. But you never know...
