Debating Our Destiny

Does anyone still remember Dukakis-Bentsen vs Bush-Quayle in 1988? For those who weren't around then, or who, in the famous words of the late President Reagan, cannot recall, it might be educational to look back 16 years, to a time when things were debated with a civilised passion.
